Hospitaller Region - Southern Maryland

Southern Maryland News & Activities

Established as a “Hospitaller Region” in 2004. Michael Sullivan was the first Regional Hospitaller for the area; he was succeeded by Jeffrey Ludwig in 2006.

Volunteer Projects

Members of the Order (and their families) who are interested in participating in one of these activities should contact the Regional Hospitaller. The phone/fax number is available in Federal Association Directory.

Health Partners Free Dental Clinic – Federal members organized the recruitment and volunteer services from dentists throughout the region to participate in the program.
Wounded Warriors - Southern Maryland members have sponsored baseball outings to Camden Yards, fishing trips on the Chesapeake Bay, barbeques and other outings for wounded veterans at Walter Reed Army Hospital.

Spiritual Activities & Events

All members of the Order (and their families) are most cordially invited to participate in these spiritual activities.

Southern Maryland members attend Order of Malta Masses and other activities in nearby Baltimore and Washington.
