Hospitaller Region - Washington, DC

Washington, DC News & Activities

The first Regional Hospitaller for the Washington region was Sandra McMurtrie, and it was her desire that every member of the Association have the opportunity to provide a service to and interact personally with the poor. Several “signature” projects (Project SHARE, Gift of Peace, Providence Hospital, and Malta House) were developed on her watch. J. Paul McNamara was appointed the 2nd Hospitaller for the region in 1996, and he was succeeded by Lita Treacy in 2002. Ann Fox is the Regional Hospitaller for Washington, DC.

The Washington group is split up into three smaller parish groups: Annunciation / Our Lady of Victory (David Brown, coordinator), Blessed Sacrament (Margaret Melady, coordinator), and Holy Trinity (Ann Fox, coordinator).
