Hospitaller Region —
Montgomery County, MD
In 2004 it was decided to split the very large Washington metropolitan area into two smaller regions: Washington, DC and Montgomery County, Maryland. Lita Treacy served as the Regional Hospitaller from 2003 – 2006, and Michele Bowe was named the Hospitaller from 2006-2010, when she became the Hospitaller for the Federal Association. Michael A. Conley was named Regional Hospitaller in 2010.
The Montgomery County group currently has four parish prayer groups: Holy Redeemer (Greg August, coordinator), Little Flower (Mimi Fleury, coordinator), Our Lady of Mercy (Tom Gaspard, coordinator) and Blessed Sacrament which serves Chevy Chase DC and Maryland (Margaret Melady, coordinator). Each group meets for Mass and fellowship once a month. All the members in the region are invited to participate in the volunteer projects as an organizer or participant.
Members of the Order (and their families) who are interested in participating in one of these activities should contact the contact person as indicated or Michele Bowe . The phone numbers and email addresses are available in the Federal Association Directory.
