Hospitaller Region - Baltimore
The Federal Association has been active in the Baltimore area since the mid-1980’s. There are now over 50 Knights, Dames, and Chaplains in the region. The Regional Hospitaller is the local coordinator for all volunteer projects and spiritual activities. The current Hospitaller is Patrick Monaghan, who succeeds Bill Baird, Henry Knott, Dr. Joe Mead, and John Danko in that position.
His Eminence, William Cardinal Keeler was named a Conventual Chaplain of the Order in 1990. There are two other chaplains assisting the Baltimore group: Monsignor Robert Armstrong, and Monsignor Richard Cramblitt. Several Baltimore-area members have served on the Federal Association’s Board of Directors, including Henry Knott, L. Patrick Deering, Carter Beese, Rowland Morrow, and, currently, Margaret Riehl with Lindsay Gallagher currently serving as Chair of the Lourdes Committee.
Members of the Order (and their families) who are interested in participating in one of these activities should contact the Regional Hospitaller. The phone/fax number is available in Federal Association Directory.
